When newspapers added episode titles, then, the titles were each individual paper's choice.<br /><br />So (to give a random example) the April 23, 1930 <i>Mickey</i> daily (with Mickey "firing" an umbrella instead of his gun) was called "A 'Reign' of Terror" in one newspaper, and "Many a Slip Twixt Gun and Hip" in another paper.
